Greetings, friends! Well, April has come and gone. It was a whirlwind month for me, work-wise. Unfortunately, I had less time to devote to creative pursuits, so this will be a rather brief update.
Literary: I didn’t get through much this month. I’ve been reading a long nordic history, but it is slow going. Once work calms down, I plan on refocusing on my reading list.
Travel: I had the fantastic opportunity to travel to Las Vegas to attend ClexaCon in early April with a bunch of friends from college. It was an incredible experience, one which I still can’t fully express in words. In short, it was a weekend of pure joy! I went to inspiring panels, stocked up on awesome merch from other queer artists, and met some incredible people. I can’t wait to go back next year, hopefully as a vendor!
I’m also gearing up for my first international trip! This summer, I’ll be venturing to Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. I am more than thrilled to be making the trip, and I can’t wait to draw landscapes across these beautiful countries. To the best of my ability, I’ll try to blog along the way, so stay tuned!
Creative: Between travel and my increased workload, I had less time to draw in April. Still, I made an effort to draw when I could, and I’ve got a few projects simmering in the background.
As I sign off for now, I’ll leave you with a selection of recent works below.
